Our Promise (For steam vehicles)

We at Marston Steam and Vintage are open and transparent about the engines we sell, whether this is through our brokering service or selling an engine direct from ourselves. We want our customers to go away happy knowing what they have purchased is as described.

For those who are not familiar with steam engines, the boiler is the equivalent to the engine in your car and in many cases, the chassis. Where possible we will supply the engine with a hydraulic and steam ticket that has been verified by our registered boiler inspector. Where a boiler is deemed not fit for purpose we will ensure to make this absolutely clear highlighted with any recommendations of boiler work needed.

Some engines may need further work carrying out and we will make recommendations on what work is needed. We are happy to provide a quote on work that may need doing so we can get it done whilst the engine is with us.

While we do not provide any guarantees on paint condition for any engine that has passed through Marston Sales. We will provide a brief overview of the condition along with recommendations. Again this is purely down to the buyers preference as some engines are in 'working clothes'.
