5" Gauge BR 9F 'Black Prince' 2-10-0

On behalf of the current owner, we are delighted to advertise our first miniature engine, albeit a Loco (it's not just road steam we do!). First steamed earlier in 2022, the engine has a Swindon copper boiler built in 2001 and comes complete with a cold examination shell test.

Built to a high quality standard, this powerful engine comes with full drawings, 2 injectors, hand pump, mechanical lubricator and of course - a whistle. Words cannot do the engine justice so take a look at the images and videos above.

4" Agricultural Garrett

Here we have for sale a lovely new build 4" Garrett built by Model Engineer, Les Birch, with Castings supplied by Adrian Nutting. This is an ideal starting engine for those wanting to get into steam. The steel boiler, built by AJB engineering has only had a handful of test steamings, so much so It has just had its first hydraulic (to which it has recently passed). The engine does steam and run, however we at Marston Steam feel it needs some time and TLC spent on it to bring the engine to it's true potential.
